Workers from TCC, the company awarded regional urban transport, have gathered this Friday in Pamplona to protest the removal of portable toilets from bus routes placed during the pandemic.Representing the works council, Maite Beorlegui explained, in statements to journalists, that with the start of the pandemic the company "deigned to put some plastic toilets on us as a provisional measure", since until then "they sent us go to the bathroom in bars, cafes, wherever we could"."We ask that they not be removed because they come in very handy, especially for night services when most hotels are closed", commented Beorlegui, to emphasize that thinking about where to go to the bathroom while on duty is "a reason for stress for the entire workforce, especially for women".However, she has criticized the fact that as of June 1 the company has begun to remove these portable toilets and currently there is only one left in Príncipe de Viana and another in the capital of Barañáin."We have been there for 30 years and in all the prevention commissions we have brought up this issue of bathrooms. We took it to the labor inspection and they said that they had to provide them, but the labor inspection could not force them," she commented.
