Paris Hilton has set the internet ablaze after posting a TikTok video showing her and Top Gun: Maverick star Tom Cruise getting ready for a glamorous night out together.
In the video, a suited-up Tom Cruise dons a dinner jacket and calls out, “Paris, I don’t want to be late for this premiere. We’ve got to go!”

Paris Hilton then walks into the frame wearing a glamorous evening gown and says, “You should always run fashionably late, it’s your night!”
Cruise looks appreciatively at her and exclaims: “You’re so absolutely beautiful!”
The pair then stand together admiring themselves in the mirror, and Cruise wraps his arms around Hilton’s waist.
“I think we’re really going to wow the world,” Cruise says, as the song Take My Breath Away from the original Top Gun movie plays in the background.
“Do you think people are really going to believe that we’re a couple?” Hilton says as Cruise cosies up to her.
“I think most people will believe anything,” he says, to which she responds: “Story of my life.”
They look amazing together – but unfortunately it’s all an illusion.
Look carefully and you’ll notice Cruise looks a little bit younger than he does now – and a little bit taller than he is in real life.
That’s right, folks, it’s a deepfake – and the internet is loving it.
A deepfake video is one which has been altered to feature the face of someone else.
Impersonator Miles Fisher donned the suit – but the head is a digitally created avatar superimposed over the top.
The video has had more than a million views and amassed thousands of hilarious comments.
Many people were fooled at first, but others knew immediately that it wasn’t the real Cruise because he is not that tall.

Others were just plain confused.
“What a minute, what?” one TikTok user wrote, while another said: “What is happening??”
“Why do they not age?” one person asked.
“Wait, is this the real Tom Cruise or a computer-generated one?” another queried.
“Oh my God you guys make it look so natural,” one follower said.
“I’m so confused,” another said, while another exclaimed: “What in the multiverse is this?”
Others immediately noted that Paris Hilton is married – but thought the two matched up well.
“How was this so hot!? Ugh I could so see that working, but then I was like she already married, dang it hahaha,” one fan said.
Hilton married entrepreneur Carter Reum last year in a lavish Los Angeles ceremony.

But hundreds of TikTok viewers immediately started “shipping” the idea of Tom ‘n Paris together.
“The collab we never expected but we are here for it,” one follower wrote.
“The couple we didn’t know we needed,” another joked.
